Who this policy is from
This policy describes how 그랜트랩스 (개인사업자), operating clearsaju.com, handles personal information. Registered address: 서울특별시 강남구 역삼로512, 5층 3호 (대치동, 인테크빌딩). Contact: support@clearsaju.com.
The free chart is calculated on your device
The free chart page contains the entire calculation. When you enter a birth date, time and city, the calculation runs in your browser. Your birth details are not transmitted to our servers, and we do not store them.
If you close or reload the page, what you entered is gone. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.
What we collect if you buy a report
To deliver a paid report we need the birth details the report is calculated from, and an email address to deliver it to. We use them for that delivery and for support about your order. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
If your report includes luck pillars, we also ask whether the chart is read as male or female. This tradition sets the direction the luck pillars run from that one value, so the section cannot be calculated without it. We use it for nothing else. It is optional: if you leave it out, we deliver the rest of the report and tell you which section is missing.
Payment is handled by Etsy Payments. Card details are entered on the processor's systems and are never seen or stored by us. We receive a confirmation that payment succeeded, the amount, and the last four digits of the card for support purposes.
How long we keep it
Order records, including the birth details a purchased report was calculated from, are kept for as long as we are required to keep transaction records, and then deleted.
You can ask us to delete your order data earlier. We will do so unless we are legally required to keep a transaction record, in which case we keep only the minimum required and delete the rest.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our use of it. Write to support@clearsaju.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with comparable law, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Cookies and analytics
The free chart page does not require cookies to work. If we later add analytics or advertising measurement, this policy will be updated before that happens and, where consent is required, we will ask for it first.
Children
This service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to support@clearsaju.com and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will change the version and date shown at the top of the page. Material changes affecting an order already placed will not be applied retroactively to that order.
What the service is
Korean Saju (사주, Four Pillars of Destiny) is a traditional East Asian interpretive practice. Clear Saju calculates a chart from a birth date, time and place using published astronomical methods, and reads that chart within the tradition. The reading is offered for entertainment and self-reflection. It is not a scientifically validated prediction of future events.
Nothing in a reading is medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice. A reading is not a diagnosis, a prognosis, an investment recommendation, or a substitute for a qualified professional. Decisions about health, money, legal matters, relationships, or safety should be made with appropriate professional help, not on the basis of a reading.
What you are buying
A paid report is a written reading of your own chart, delivered as a PDF, uploaded to your Etsy order within 24 hours. Each section cites the part of your chart it was read from, so you can see the basis for every statement.
The same birth details always produce the same chart and the same reading. The reading is produced from the calculation, not improvised.
What we do not promise
We do not promise that a reading will be accurate about your life, that events described as possible will happen, or that following any suggestion will produce a particular outcome. Saju is an interpretive tradition, and different schools read the same chart differently.
We state which school conventions our calculation follows, and we do not claim they are the only correct ones.
Accuracy of what you enter
A chart is only as accurate as the birth date, time and place you give us. If the time of birth is unknown or wrong, the hour pillar and anything read from it will be wrong. We cannot verify your birth details, and an error in them is not a defect in the report.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, whichever is higher, to buy a report.
What you may and may not do with a report
Your report is for your own personal use. You may keep it, print it, and show it to whomever you like. You may not resell it, republish it publicly as your own, or use it to operate a competing reading service.
The text, the calculation engine, and the interpretation material remain ours. Buying a report gives you a licence to use that report, not ownership of the underlying work.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the report the claim relates to. We are not liable for decisions you make after reading a report.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud.
Suspension
We may refuse or cancel an order if we believe it is fraudulent, if payment is reversed, or if the service is being used to harass someone. If we cancel an order that was paid for, we refund it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by 대한민국 법. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
Legal
Refund Policy
If the report was not delivered, or a section could not be produced from your chart, you get your money back.
When we refund in full, no questions asked
- The report was not delivered.
- The report was delivered incomplete — our system refuses to deliver a partial report, so if you received one, that is a fault on our side.
- You were charged more than once for the same order.
- You bought the wrong product and have not opened the report.
If your birth details were wrong
Tell us the correct details and we will re-issue the report once, at no charge, instead of refunding. A chart calculated from the wrong birth moment is not a defect in the report, but we would rather you had the right one.
Disagreeing with the reading
A reading is an interpretation within a tradition, not a factual claim about your life, so disagreeing with what it says is not by itself grounds for a refund. We say this plainly before you buy, and a free chart is available so you can see the quality of the calculation first.
That said, if you feel the report was not what the page described, write to us and explain. We would rather refund a dissatisfied reader than argue.
How to ask
Write to support@clearsaju.com with your order number within 30 days of purchase. We reply within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, and the time it takes to appear depends on Etsy Payments and your bank.
Statutory rights
Where you have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content — for example under EU or UK consumer law — this policy does not reduce it. Where that right is lost once delivery of digital content begins with your consent, we tell you so at checkout before you consent.
Entertainment and self-reflection
Korean Saju (사주, Four Pillars of Destiny) is a traditional East Asian interpretive practice. Clear Saju calculates a chart from a birth date, time and place using published astronomical methods, and reads that chart within the tradition. The reading is offered for entertainment and self-reflection. It is not a scientifically validated prediction of future events.
Not professional advice
Nothing in a reading is medical, psychological, legal, financial, or professional advice. A reading is not a diagnosis, a prognosis, an investment recommendation, or a substitute for a qualified professional. Decisions about health, money, legal matters, relationships, or safety should be made with appropriate professional help, not on the basis of a reading.
What we will not tell you
- We do not predict death, illness, or the outcome of a medical condition.
- We do not tell you whether to marry, divorce, or leave a relationship.
- We do not tell you what to invest in, or whether a business will succeed.
- We do not give legal outcomes or tell you whether to sue or settle.
- We do not use fear about any of the above to sell anything.
Limits of the calculation
The chart is calculated from published astronomical methods and the school conventions we state on the methodology page. Solar term boundaries, the day boundary, and the time standard used are matters on which traditions differ, and a chart calculated under a different convention may differ from ours near a boundary.
Where your birth moment falls close to such a boundary, we say so on your result rather than presenting one answer as certain.
If you need support now
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, a reading is not the right place to be. Please contact a local emergency number or a crisis line in your country, or talk to someone you trust.
